Java is an all-purpose purpose programming language that was produced by Sun Microsystems. It pioneered characteristics now seen in additional programming languages for example the use of a virtual machine, which allows for easy code portability. A most important characteristic that Java innovated was the employ of the virtual machine. In place of the compiler outputting an executable written for exact computer architecture, it turns the source code into what is well-known as bytecode, a form of machine code that runs on the virtual machine. Then, whenever an important person wants to run a Java program, they just require having the virtual machine installed. This is called "write one time run anywhere" since it allows the developer to create a single application that will run in any environment. The virtual machine also creates it easier to implement managed code tools for example a garbage collector. All Java memory management is taken care of by the garbage collect
